Making a Reservation…
Call Tuesday to Saturday 10am – 10pm or email, during service times we may struggle to answer all calls but we do respond to all voicemails as soon as time allows
Phone Reservations are not available after 4-5pm on a Sunday and all day Mondays – 01328 710456
All bookings will require a mobile number, email address, card details and your home postcode to be accepted.

If there is no on-line availability this would mean we are fully booked , you could email us to be added to our cancellation list, but do leave all your details of Name, Numbers, Mobile Number, Date Required and whether you require Lunch or Dinner.
Couldn’t get a table then book a Takeaway of one of our Platters or Finish at Home Meals – ordering restrictions apply.
How are bookings work …
We relay the 5.30pm & 6pm tables later at 7.30pm and 8pm and all other bookings have their table all night. If you require your table longer than the allocated 1.5 or 2 hours then do email us and we will do our best to accommodate you, but be aware our reservations get booked quickly.
We will always communicate your table leave times with you so may mean you only have time for two courses if you take time to choose or order dishes that take longer to cook, and we appreciate if you could tell us of any dietary needs, children who need children’s menus and any special occasions prior to your arrival. Please be aware we do not allow sprinkles on our tables but banners and helium balloons (only) are more than welcome.
We are a small restaurant with differing sizes of tables so do let us know if you require more space for your dining experience.
We do not accept dogs in our small restaurant and we do not have an outside area, but guide dogs are always welcome.
Children are welcome and we have a children’s menu, but under 5’s are only permitted at lunchtime and in our first sitting until 7.30pm.
We have a ramp for Wheelchairs but I am afraid we do not have a Disabled Toilet on our premises. The two restaurants in Wells that do are The Globe Inn and The Crown Hotel.
All online bookings will get an email reminder with our safety advice and we may call to confirm your booking if some time has lapsed since making your booking.
Please note that parking in Wells can be much harder during peak times and weekends, so do arrive earlier to get a space as can be very limited.
All phone and online bookings are guaranteed by your credit or debit card number to secure your reservation, however, no money is charged to your card unless you fail to turn up to your reservation or notify us by at least 3 hours before that service starts whether via email, phone or a voicemail as we can log the time, then a charge of £15 per person will be charged. All information is kept securely by PCI and managed by Stripe Payments.
