Call Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am – 10pm or email, during service times we may struggle to answer all calls but we do respond to all voicemails as soon as time allows so it is best to book online using the link below as all our reservations are live and we see what you see.
(Please note we take our breaks between service.)
We are closed Sunday’s and Mondays but open open 12-2.30 and 5.30-8.30pm on Special Sunday’s found on our Opening Hours.
All bookings will require a mobile number, email address and card details to be accepted.

If there is no on-line availability this would mean we are fully booked , you could email us to be added to our cancellation list, but do leave all your details of Name, Numbers, Mobile Number, Date Required and whether you require Lunch or Dinner. When we get a cancellation we call down the list until someone answers, no voicemails are left.

How are bookings work …
TABLE TIMES & SIZES AND SPECIAL REQUESTS
We work on two sitting and bookings can be made at 5.30, 6pm, 7.30pm, 8pm and 8.30pm.
The 5.30pm & 6pm tables are turned again later at 7.30pm, 8pm & 8.30pm. If you require your table longer than the allocated 1.5 or 2 hours then do email us and we will do our best to accommodate you, but be aware our reservations get booked quickly.
We will always communicate your table leave times with you so may mean you only have time for two courses if you take time to choose or order dishes that take longer to cook, and we appreciate if you could tell us of any dietary needs, children who need children’s menus and any special occasions prior to your arrival.
Please be aware we do not allow sprinkles on our tables but banners and helium balloons are more than welcome.
We are a small restaurant with differing sizes of tables so do let us know if you require more space for your dining experience.
Larger Bookings need to call to book as the maximum booking online is 6 persons and we will require a pre order on all reservations of 10 +
Celebrating a Birthday or Anniversary? Then we can arrange a small Birthday Cake for you at £7. The cake will be Victoria Sponge and then decorated for your occasion or perhaps you would like some bubbles on arrival?
If you want flowers arranged we can contact the local florist for you with your colour scheme and budget.
I am afraid there is no where in wells that does balloons.
We do not accept DOGS in our small restaurant, and we do not have an outside area, but guide dogs are always welcome.
Children are welcome and we have a children’s menu, but under 5’s are only permitted at lunchtime and in our first sitting until 7.30pm. After this time we only allow fully Sleeping Babies to ensure the enjoyment for all our guests.
We have a ramp for Wheelchairs but I am afraid we do not have a Disabled Toilet on our premises. The two restaurants in Wells that do are The Globe Inn and The Crown Hotel, but we have two public toilet blocks very near by.
Please note that parking in Wells can be much harder during peak times and weekends, so do arrive earlier to get a space as can be very limited in the large council car park called Stearman’s Yard opposite our Restaurant which is free after 6pm. There is also a private car park next door to the left that is more expensive.
All phone and online bookings are guaranteed by your credit or debit card number to secure your reservation, however, NO MONEY is charged to your card unless you fail to turn up to your reservation or notify us by 10am or 3pm whether via email, phone or a voicemail as we can log the time, then a charge of £25 per person will be charged. All information is kept securely by PCI and managed by Stripe Payments.
We accept all cards including Amex and Vouchers used for payments can only be with the HARD COPY and not the email receipt of purchase.
All bookings get a reminder a couple of days prior via email.
