If there is no on-line availability this would either mean we are fully booked, or the primary booking has been made and we are now on relays, please be aware we are A few weeks ahead on Saturdays, so you will need to send either an email or leave a voicemail and we will get back to you. Please be aware we do not have any walk in tables.

How are bookings work …

We relay the 6pm and 6.30pm tables later, but if you feel that you require the table longer then we will always endeavour to honour your request.

We will always communicate your table times, and we appreciate if you could tell us of any dietary needs, children and special occasions prior to your arrival. Please be aware we do not allow sprinkles on our tables but banners and balloons are more than welcome.

We are a small restaurant with differing sizes of tables so do let us know if you require more space for your dining experience.

We do not accept dogs in our small restaurant and we do not have an outside area,  but guide dogs are always welcome.

Children are welcome and we have a children’s menu, but under 5’s are only permitted at lunchtime and in our first sitting until 7.30pm. We welcome sleeping babies at any time of the evening but ask to be notified as we may not have room for a pram on busier evenings but will do our best to arrange tables.

We have a ramp for Wheelchairs but I am afraid we do not have a Disabled Toilet on our premises. The two restaurants in Wells that do are The Globe Inn and The Crown Hotel.

All online bookings will get an email reminder and we may call to confirm your booking if some time has lapsed since making your booking.

We kindly ask that you stick to your reservation time as we only hold a table for twenty minutes unless you have called to say you are running late. Then we will hold your table but this may result in less time on your allocated table.

Please note that parking in Wells can be harder during peak times and weekends.

All online bookings are guaranteed by your credit or debit card number to secure your reservation, however, no money is charged to your card unless you fail to turn up to your reservation or notify us before each service starts (12pm for lunch or 6pm for dinner) then a charge of £5 per person will be charged. All information is kept securely by PCI and managed by Stripe Payments.

As a small Restaurant we welcome larger parties but on bookings of 8 or more then a deposit will be required of £5 per person and a pre-order for larger bookings.
